Okay, but time consuming. I'm trying to do extra before I go off on holidays at the end of the month.

This is the opposite of "the last sentence you wrote". every time you write you take the first sentence you wrote and put it in here.

Here's mine: Samko had been running so long he flopped over but jumped up again because he fell into marshy water.

I'm interested by this, but I'm not quite sure what the concept is - the first sentence by what criteria? I'm not even sure if I could find the first sentence that I wrote ever.

But I'm going to join in, and provide the first sentence of the story that I'm trying to finish today or at the latest tomorrow:

I was vacuuming the living room, and trying to actually do a reasonably good job and not keep getting distracted, when the front doorbell rang, so I didn't pay that much attention.

I can enter the first sentence of my story, but that's it for now until I'm back to continuing my novel. I keep working on it.

"Evira glanced at the clock in her Toyota Sequoia. "

After a very short preflight checklist, Kevin Briery lifted the rugged little aircar to a height of a hundred feet and set off on a course to the south-southeast, checking the navigation tracking screen to confirm his bearing.
